Our environmental policy

CJSC “GEDEON RICHTER-RUS” takes its responsibility to protect the environment. The enterprise entirely follows the Federal Law “On environmental protection” which helps to form and strengthen the laws of ecology and provide the ecological safety.   

The law sets the tasks for the whole Russian environmental legislation, which includes regulation of society and environment relations in order to keep natural resources and human habitat, to prevent environmentally harmful economical and other activities, to improve the environment, to strengthen law and order for the sake of the present and future generations.

CJSC “GEDEON RICHTER-RUS” treats with great respect the main principals of environmental protection and fulfils the requirements of the laws of ecology. In this respect a person responsible for the ecological safety was appointed. Senior staff and employees regularly hold the trainings in ecology and environmental protection.    

At the plant there are the following projects concerning ecological safety:

    1. Maximum permissible discharge project.

    2. Wastes Generation Limits project.

    3. Draft Maximum Permissible Emission. 

The primary activity of the plant is the medicine production and packaging. At the enterprise the range of measures is undertaken to protect the environment:

    1. Hazardous emission prevention.

 - ventilation systems with nonwoven filters are used

             - the technological ventilation which gathers and utilize waste is installed at the tabletin equipment       

    2. Waste water purification. There are in-house biological treatment facilities due to which biotreated water discharged into a local river.
